Dr. Archana Balasubramanya is a Board Certified Internist who completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Interfaith Medical Center, New York.
She worked as a Hospitalist for 5 years, leading the hospital medical team and coordinating care for inpatients. She proficiently managed a wide array of medical conditions with varying complexities including care of patients admitted to ICU and Hospital affiliated Skilled Nursing Facility.
Having realized that a lot of hospitalizations can be prevented by promptly addressing medical conditions, she transitioned to urgent care.
During her 7 year tenure at urgent care, she noticed long wait times for patients, exposing them to various infections. Loss of work days for an office visit often adds to patient inconvenience. Keeping the best interest of patients in mind, she opts to practice telemedicine and provide quality medical care to patients in the comfort of their homes.
She is licensed to practice in Alabama and Florida.
